R. Casadesus Violin Sonatas.

This is one of those discs that make a reviewer's work worthwhile. . . . This disc gave me a very pleasant Saturday afternoon. Casadesus's violin music, while interesting and intellectually challenging, is the antithesis of stress.

Fritz Gearhart is a treasure whose value the wider public has yet to discover. . . . John Owings plays brightly, and he is up to the technical challenges that Casadesus set.
